The newest storm formed in the Eastern Pacific on Sunday. Tropical Storm Narda will continue to move out into the Pacific over the next few days.

Narda will continue to move into favorable conditions for tropical development. The latest forecast from the National Hurricane Center has Narda getting up to Category 2 strength.

Narda could produce flooding in Mexico over the next few days before it begins to turn more westerly. Large swells and strong currents could continue to reach the coast as the system pulls away.

The next name up on the Pacific hurricane season names list is Octave.
